There are several different mentoring formats each with their distinct advantages as well as disadvantages.
The most common mentoring format is 1-on-1 mentoring followed by group mentoring and speed mentoring. Pairspace provides access to all three of these mentoring formats.
1-On-1 Mentoring: This is the most common format for a mentoring relationship and offers personalized attention and tailored advice over one or several sessions.
Group Mentoring: This format is focused on peer learning and forgoes personalized attention in exchange for collaborative engagement and diverse perspectives.
Speed Mentoring: This format provides a limited timeframe for asking questions and seeking advice without the creation of a formal mentoring relationship.
